Hi! I’m May from Japan 🌏
I’ve recently completed a one-year solo trip around the world, and now I’m excited to explore beautiful New Zealand from late May to early July. I’ll be traveling alone again and looking to experience not just the sights, but also the local lifestyle and meaningful connections along the way.

This will be my very first time using Workaway, and I’m really looking forward to learning through helping, meeting warm-hearted hosts, and discovering places that might become my “happy place on Earth.” I’m considering moving abroad in the future, so I’d love to get a taste of everyday life in different corners of the world.

A bit about my background — I studied information and communication at university, and have worked in customer service, office admin, and most recently as a web consultant for over five years. I’ve also spent two years living in Canada on a working holiday visa and one year traveling around the world.

I’m an open-minded, curious, and responsible traveler who enjoys slow travel, nature, and creative work. I may be new to Workaway, but I’m always ready to try new things and support others however I can.
