Description
We are Max (25) and Janine (22), currently taking a gap year traveling around Thailand and Australia. We are both outgoing and open-minded people who love meeting new friends and learning new skills. Our diet is vegetarian/vegan, and we love to cook.
Janine grew up in a small village in eastern Germany (Thuringia). She has a Background in social work and is a very empathetik person. She is a creative mind who writes her own poetry and is a passionate hobby painter. Janine loves dancing, she even trains a group of kids to dance at the German carnival every year. Very important to know: she also loves turtles and tortoise.
Max is from the suburbs of Nuremberg. He is a creative mind as well, He is pursuing a career as a video game artist and is deeply passionate about games, movies, and art in general. Max is also a huge nature lover who enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities, including hiking, diving, snorkeling, canoeing, and more.

Janine is a qualified special needs caregiver (Heilerziehungspflegerin in German) and has extensive experience working with children, elderly people, and individuals with severe disabilities. During her training, she acquired both medical and pedagogical knowledge as well as a deep understanding of how to support people with care and empathy. In addition, Janine worked part-time in a bookstore and is a very organized and responsible person.
Max holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia and is an aspiring 3D and Game Artist. He has a wide range of skills related to PCs and media, including 3D art, programming, video editing, photo editing, and more. Through various side jobs, he has also gained experience in different fields of work. He has worked with customers at a hotel in Germany, as well as in logistics and the health sector during the Covid pandemic. Hes outgoing and loves to work with people and be creative.
