Description
Hi, I’m Maurits, a 33-year-old from Luxemburg. I’m a certified bartender and have previous experience in hostel and hospitality work, including bar service, check-ins and check-outs, guest relations, daily operations, and supporting the general flow of a place.
I would describe myself as responsible, calm, social, and hands-on. I enjoy being around people, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and helping things run smoothly in the background. I’m not afraid of responsibility and I’m happy to take initiative when something needs to be done.
Outside of work, I’m into surfing, music, DJing, guitar, motorcycling, nature, and meeting people from different backgrounds. I speak German, French, English, Luxembourgish, and some Dutch, which often helps in international environments.
I’m looking for places where I can contribute properly, learn new skills, and become part of the daily rhythm rather than just passing through. I’m especially interested in hostels, surf camps, guesthouses, community projects, creative spaces, and places with a warm and honest atmosphere. -

My main skills are hospitality, bartending, guest relations, communication, organization, and problem-solving. I’m a certified bartender and have experience with bar work, cocktails, hostel operations, check-ins, guest communication, and daily team support.
I also bring professional experience from real estate, where I developed strong skills in sales, negotiation, customer service, responsibility, and working independently. I speak German, French, English, Luxembourgish, and some Dutch.
I’m creative, practical, and hands-on. I can help with music, DJing, small events, setting up spaces, basic maintenance, gardening, cleaning, and general daily tasks. I’m reliable, adaptable, and happy to take initiative where needed. -
