Hey! I'm Matt 26 year old, British Male.
I'm chill, easy going with a 'just get on with it attitude' to work. I've worked in a wide range of jobs in my life from Hospitality to gardening/ farming and building management . I'm also a very sociable person who loves meeting new people and hearing their stories.
Passions of mine include but are not limited to; Camping & The outdoors, Travel (of course), Animals (Fish and dogs are my favourite!) and cooking.
What motivates me is an inner feeling of never being satisfied within my current situation. The world is a big place and I want to see as much of it as I can while meeting as many cool people as possible along the way.

I am very interested in teaching English and have done through Workaway for 3 weeks in Mongolia. In terms of learning, I have a very small (but growing) knowledge of German. I'm very keen to practice and learn more.

Having done quite a wide range of jobs in my life, I believe that one of my main skills is being able to get on with any work that needs doing, giving my all with a smile on my face.
My main area of expertise is Hospitality, my most recent hospitality job was as Bar Manager of a craft beer bar in Penguin, Tasmania. Hospitality is a passion of mine and something I am very good at.
I also have a fair bit of experience working outdoors, I have worked a; a gardener in both England and Australia, a greenkeeper/ grounds maintenance on a golf course and farm hand. Also, I'm pretty handy in terms of DIY, having worked for accommodation within a maintenance team at a hostel in Brisbane, Australia. I really enjoy working in the outdoors and being physical at work.
Furthermore, I have previously volunteered (through workaway) teaching English in Mongolia. I really enjoy to talk to and get to know people from all over the world, I have found a passion for teaching and if I can help people to learn my native language I think it makes my travels even more rewarding and worthwhile.
Lastly, I have just started learning computer programming ,I wouldn't call it a skill as of yet, but it soon will be.

What else ...
I'm really adventurous (have stepped foot on 6/7 continents and visited 20 countries) and am planning on travelling for as long as life will allow me to. I have recently discovered workaway and it is the way I am going to travel to world. I love to meet new people and immerse myself in new cultures and Workaway allows me to help people too!
