Description
Hi! I'm Matilde, I'm 25 years old and currently working at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. I'm deeply committed to making a positive impact in the world, and that’s a big part of what motivates me every day. I am naturally curious and I love discovering new places, meeting people, and experiencing different ways of living. Learning from other cultures brings me a deep sense of joy and inspiration.
I consider myself a creative person. I love writing, drawing, reading, and watching films, as they allow me to explore ideas and express myself in different ways. I am always open to new experiences and I truly enjoy being helpful, learning by doing, and sharing time with others in meaningful ways. For me, Workaway is a wonderful opportunity to grow, contribute, and connect with people from around the world.Interests

More details about your skills
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to do a variety of different jobs, which helped me become adaptable and quick to learn. I’ve worked seasonally in a laundry, done catering, worked as a barista, and all the while continued studying economics. These experiences taught me to manage my time well, stay organized, and work efficiently even in busy environments.
In addition to hands-on work, I’ve also gained valuable experience in office settings. I currently work at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, where I’ve been involved in projects related to gender equality. I’ve also worked in Brussels in the field of lobbying and advocacy, and in Rome in fundraising. These roles have strengthened my communication skills, my ability to work in international environments, and my understanding of social impact and global issues.
I'm someone who is proactive and not afraid to get their hands dirty. I learn quickly and am always willing to do what needs to be done. Whether it’s practical tasks, teamwork, or taking initiative when needed, I enjoy being useful and finding solutions. I believe every experience is a chance to grow, and I always bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to whatever I do.Age
