Hello, I'm Mathieu a 31 years old French guy travelling alone hitchiking since december 2025.
I aim to do a full tour around the world without flying in slow traveling mood.

Along the road, I try to meet people commited to an ecological way of life, taking care of nature and living beings.

I am enthusiastic about learning a variety of skills: gardening, DIY, building, cooking...

At home, in recent years I have done a lot of volunteer work with young people with disabilities and homeless people. I lived in a 25-person shared house.

I have a background in mechanical and industrial engineering and I've been thinking for some time about a new professional project combining social and environmental commitment.

I am interested in eco-village projects, integration companies, adapted companies, eco-construction, low-tech, crafts, ancient know-how, market gardening on living soil, agroforestry, the protection and regeneration of living things and biodiversity.

I hope to enjoy learning a lot about these topics and meeting wonderful people during my trip.

I just signed up for Workaway, but I've already done WWOOFing and helped out in exchange for accommodation. I'm very sociable and easygoing, I enjoy meeting new people and I learn new skills quickly.
