  • Description

I’m Brazilian and I’ve always dreamed of traveling abroad and discovering new cultures and languages. I first did that through my engineering studies, which brought me to France in 2014. From the moment I arrived, I knew this wasn’t just a dream come true, but a new life. I’m still in France today, very happy to be here and grateful for everything I’ve learned along the way.

Travel has always been a big part of who I am. I’ve visited many European countries, done a lot of hitchhiking (my personal record is Marseille to Amsterdam!), and hosted dozens of people from more than 10 countries through couchsurfing in my tiny student apartment. These experiences have been incredibly enriching.

After a few years working as an engineer, I decided to start a new adventure with Workaway, inspired by a close friend. I chose Italy for very personal reasons: most of my great-grandparents were Italian, and I’ve always felt a strong connection to the country. I’ve been studying Italian for three years, I’m passionate about wine, and my main goal is to spend 2–3 weeks working in viticulture and vinification, while speaking with Italians and learning about Italian culture and history.

If I don’t find a wine-related project, I’d be very happy to work on a farm and learn how to grow plants, fruits, vegetables, or take care of animals. I have no prior experience in agriculture—I’m an engineer with a background in computers, photography, and art—but I’m highly motivated, ready to learn, and not afraid of hard physical work. Since I’m doing this during my vacations, I can be available for 15 to 20 days in a row.

  • More details about your skills

I’m pretty good with my hands and enjoy careful, creative tasks like cooking, drawing, and painting. I love being around animals and plants and I’m excited to learn more through Workaway, even if I don’t have a lot of experience with farms and agriculture activities yet.

I’m an engineer with an economics background, so I’m comfortable with numbers, planning, and Excel. I’m also passionate about photography and will be traveling with my camera — always happy to help capture moments along the way
