Description

I love making art, cooking with my friends, make music, writing poetry and novels, running and being around animals and nature. I would say, that I'm very calm yet outgoing, I love taking responsibility and work together on projects. I'm in the middle of my gap years, and I've just sailed to Cap Verde from Denmark on a big sailing ship with many other young people. I've been working a lot in daycare institutions with children of many ages, at cafes and shops. I've always had an exploring approach to many things in life, I'm philosophical by nature and I love to get to know other people.

I've been educated on training ship Denmark about many different approaches to maintenance like, priming, painting, to file, using angle grinders, sewing. I know about personal protective equipment and how to be safe in a work environment in general. I’ve had education in AED, first aid and physical first aid. I've taken a welding course and a crane course, and I know basic knowledge about machinery in general. I have worked with many different materials, and I’m always ready to get to know even more. I do a lot of painting on canvas in my free time, you can check it out on my painting Instagram @martinestegninger .
I’ve been working with children of many ages from a few months to 15 years old in different institutions. I love kids, I have good patience with them and I always find my inner kid when I’m with them. I’ve been a scout leader for a couple of years where I made activities for kids of many different ages. Now I work at a place where kids go after school to do fun things and to enjoy each other’s company – here I work in the Creative Space where I make art with them.

Random things I Love: I love art history, I love playing Catan Settlers, my favourite authors are Hariku Murakami, Olga Ravn and Anne Carson. If you find me listening to music it's probably Björk - I loooove her music! I don't eat meat very often - when I cook it's always with a lot of vegetables. I find my piece when I play my guitar and thats where I'm the most happy :D
