Hi, how are you doing?

I am Martín, german with a certain latino background. Into sports, profund conversations, childish humour, learning and teaching.

I have travelled 40+ countries. Stayed with different people and recently discovered workaway. I love writing, meeting people, young & old, exploring beautiful cities and watching unknown animals. Therein lies the beauty of this life, I believe.

Since I work as a feelgood manager for companies and a free wedding speaker for couples my #1 skill would be communication.
Next to that, organising things, empathy, understanding what´s needed in a certain situation, taking responsability, playing a part. Designing things. Walking the dog, feeding the cat. Helping your kids with their homework. Building something. Etc....
I am happy to teach your family one of my languages, or just practice with them. When I am down under, I would like to learn some Maori / Aboriginal phrases.

The next is gonna sound very vain: I consider myself an absolutely reliable person. I am a pretty good cook. Not like a michelin star chef but I do know how to cook. I´m physically fit. I am a fast learner. I see things other people don´t.

What else ...

I play improv theatre and dance tango. And I am definitely into sports – swimming, biking, hiking, JKD and everything that involves a ball: Above all I love playing football* and tennis.
I am happy to practice some of my hobbies with you or your kids.
Here in Berlin I volunteer as a football coach, elementary school teacher and sometimes as a godfather for children who do not have a father in their lives.

Speaking of childminding: I love looking after kids, playing with them, helping/coaching them... Did so in several projects/environments.
However, I am not much experienced with babies / very youngchildren.

Sometimes you just want to retreat to your room, but in general, I´d like to be part of your family life, sharing meals, a glass of (fill in the name of your favourite liquid) or a board game.

I am talkative and love to go out.
But very loud parties, lots of alcohol and masses of people are not my thing, I have to admit.

* = soccer. I am not crazy enough for american football...
