Hi !
My name is Marine and i'm am a french building engineering student. This year, I decided to temporarily stop my studies to do a gapyear.
This project is really important for me because I feel like I need to discover and learn more about the world, and about me, before graduating.

I've always wanted to learn about the asian culture and especially the South-East Asia. I really want to share the culture of people and their way of living.
Moreover, I am passionate about nature. I apreciate working outside, helping in a farm or helping at home.
Last year, I went to a small village in TOGO, in Africa, in order to help the village to build a school. I stayed 1 month, building the school, playing with children, helping in the cornfield. I really enjoyed staying in the village, sharing the african culture, helping with everything.

What brings me hapiness is to share with people, learn from them and teach them what I know, help working, living simply.

As a building ingeneer, I know a lot of things related to construction. I have done some internships as a worker, so I am very autonomous to build and repair. When I was in Africa, I built a school. Currently, I am part of a building construction site. I am very comfortable with tools.

In addition, as a nature lover, I know some basics in agriculture and permaculture. I have a vegetable garden at home that I really enjoy to help growing. But above all, I am so passionate that I have a very high motivation to learn !!

Finally, I have good abilities to speak and share with people. It is really important for me to bring hapiness everywhere :)
