Hey there!

My name is Marie, and I’m currently in my gap year after graduation :) Now I’m finally setting off to my first solo travelling experience! I’m looking forward to meet new friends and acquaintances and offer you a helping hand with everything you might want me to do :)

I am a very curious and creative person, who loves to do art and doesn’t mind to get their hands dirty from time to time.

I love to be outdoors, especially to hike and to feel very close to nature. I would be very happy if I could take care of an animal or pet during my stay, as animals are very dear to me and I like to take care of them very much.

While I was still in school I participated in a student council, where we worked with younger students and also organised anti-bullying, mental health and sustainability-events to name a few, so I know what it’s like to work in a team.

I’ve also worked on a farm for a short while, where I’ve helped with the harvest and took care of some animals. Career wise I’m experienced in service, having waited in a restaurant and also organised Weddings, Parties and such :) I have also worked in our local cinema but I’m also ready to learn new stuff and maybe do something that matters a little more, and give something back to the community.

I forgot to mention that I really love to play tennis! Also if there is an opportunity at your stay to do horse riding (a long lost hobby of mine that I’d love to pick up again) or even surfing (a dream of mine to try once in my life) I’d be forever grateful! Not a requirement though haha :))
