Hi everyone !
I am curious and eager to discover the world. Currently, I am backpacking through South America. I started end of February in Ecuador, traveled to Colombia, Bolivia and I am now in Mexico, until january.

In my dailylife, I enjoy going to concerts or other cultural events/exhibitions, I want to know about the country's history.
I used to live in Brussels but I am a nature-lover so any opportunity to go out and explore brings me a lot of happiness. I enjoy any hiking trails through forests and to see waterfalls. I believe we have to reconnect to nature and I am here to do so.

I enjoy listening to and playing music, sports (who wants to go for a run or a swim?) and the little pleasures in life, like craft activities and spending time with my loved ones.
By volunteering with workaway, I would love to learn about new cultures and ways of thinking. I want to live differently, outside of the european mentality.
I would like to reconnect to the sense of community.

I have experience in wood construction thanks to my time with the scouts in Belgium.
I also did 3-4 weeks of volunteering with an indigenous community in Ecuador, giving English classes to children.
In Colombia, I had the opportunity to work in a small ecological farm where I took care of the plants and tried ecological construction with clay. In Bolivia, I stayed three weeks in a small association that helps women build confidence, and avoid circle of violence in their life. Doing volunteering helps me give a lot a meaning to my trip, I wouldn't do it any other way!

I have volunteering experience in Belgium with scouts organization but also with festivals (entrance hostess, wood construction, security, etc).
I am crafty, inventive and a fast learner, I have organizational skills thanks to my studies and to my personal experiences.
