Hi! My name is Marie, I’m 28, French, and originally from Brittany , a region famous for crêpes and salted butter caramel (important cultural detail 😄).

For the past seven years, I’ve been living in Brussels, Belgium, and along the way I also spent a year in Rome because… well, I love Italy. A lot.
Travel and cultural exchange have always been a big part of my life, both personally and professionally.

I’m a very dynamic, positive and sociable person. I smile easily, I’m generous with my time and energy, and I genuinely enjoy living and working with others. I’ve always lived in shared spaces, flatshares, communities, even shared bedrooms, so adapting, communicating and respecting different lifestyles feels very natural to me. ☀️

This year marks the beginning of a journey that really matters to me. I started in the north of India (Rishikesh), where I completed a 200h yoga teacher training. Yoga has become an important part of my life, and I would be very happy to share this passion with the people I meet during my volunteer experiences, whether through classes, informal practice, or simply exchanging ideas. 🤗

My journey continues in Brazil, my first time there! I’m extremely curious and motivated to learn Portuguese on site and to immerse myself fully in the culture.

I speak French, English and Italian fluently, I have a good level of Spanish, and I’m excited to learn Brazilian Portuguese.

When I’m not traveling, I work in an international NGO coordinating the Europe Network of an exchange program called AFS for stuents in hight school, which has taught me a lot about intercultural communication, adaptability and community life.

I’m always happy to help, learn new skills, share experiences and be part of a meaningful project. If you’re looking for someone open-minded, reliable, enthusiastic and easy to live with, I’d love to connect! 🧡

Besides yoga, I also love surfing and climbing, anything that keeps me active and outdoors.
Human connections are extremely important to me, and I naturally enjoy creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere around me. I’m usually the first one to break the ice, make people feel comfortable, and bring a bit of humor into the group so everyone has a good time. :)))
