Hi there!
We are Margaux and Zakaria, a French couple who have been together for 2 years. We’re looking for new adventures and learning opportunities through Workaway, and we’re highly motivated to help and connect with others.
We have strong skills in gardening and DIY/handy work, and we enjoy working with our hands. Margaux is a certified Early Childhood Educator in France and has several years of experience caring for and supporting young children.
We also have pets (a dog and a cat), so we’re comfortable and experienced when it comes to animal care.
We love sports, laughing, and sharing good times with people. We’re friendly, curious, respectful, and always ready to lend a hand!

We love to travel to discover new cultures, meet new people and most of all… improve our language skills! We already have some basics, and we’re eager to practice and progress through real life conversations in a friendly and natural setting. For us, learning a language isn’t just about studying words it’s about sharing moments, listening, and opening up to new ways of thinking. Every encounter is a chance to grow in vocabulary, in understanding, and in perspective.

Margaux is a sporty and animal-loving soul with a warm heart and a certified diploma in early childhood education. She has excellent childcare skills, including playing with children, organizing educational activities, and creating a safe and nurturing environment. She is also very comfortable around animals and knows how to care for them with kindness and responsibility.
Zakaria has an adventurous spirit with a deep interest in nature and practical skills. He is an energy engineer in France, but also very hands-on. He enjoys gardening, DIY, construction, fixing things, and helping with any kind of physical tasks. He also has experience in animal care and has no problem with heavy lifting or more demanding work.
Together, we make a great team, motivated, reliable, and always eager to help. We love doing sports, laughing, meeting new people, and discovering new ways of living.
