Description

Hello :-) my name is Marek and I'm 31 years old nature lover who seeks new experiences in the mountains or by the sea.

I'd like to help with anything what is necessary, such as woodworking, building, painting, cleaning, moving stuff, repairing, gardening, planting, taking care of animals and much more.

I'm hardworking and motivated, manually skilled and in a good physical shape, open minded and mostly talkative, yet sometimes I like to enjoy calm and quiet moments.

I'd like to work outside, in a garden, on a farm, or just anywhere else in nature - by the sea or in the mountains, remote locations as well as places closer to civilization.

I speak English well and have basics in German and Italian.

My past work opportunities taught me to do the extra step, find better functioning solutions, improve the existing processes and not to be afraid to say what I think is important. Still, to be polite and get along with others in the best manner is very high on mi priority list.

I'm looking for stays at the host's place for one to three weeks, as I'd like to work, explore around and enjoy the place and people for a while.

Working around the house, gardening, maintenance, cutting wood or helping to build (anything), and animal care.

Manually skilled and creative - I like to repair or craft things. I would love to get more into woodwork in the future.

Photography (actively for 15 years), drone flying (and videography), I can help you create photos or videos of anything.

Everything around computers (currently primarily MacOS, but Windows as well), disassembly/assembly and repair of electronics or household items of all kinds.

I worked for about 4 years as a product manager, which taught me a lot about company numbers (stock, goals, margins, etc.)

When I traveled across Scandinavia in a small campervan, I learned that just a few things is really necessary to have to live a good life - for me, quite a liberating thought and realization.

I've worked with people all my professional life, therefore communication is not a problem.

Kitchen - I know all the basics as I've been living on my own for many years, yet I'm not a master chef, I will not lie :-)

Driving - got a driving licence and I drive if there is an opportunity, in 2022 I've spent 3 months traveling the Scandinavia in a campervan (I only don't like to drive in Prague or capital cities, it is such a mess). Anyways, driving shouldn't be the main goal of my help (I like walking better :-))

I love to move a lot, physical activity is necessary for me. In the free time, I'm always exploring new locations, mostly by foot. I'd like to get into paragliding in the future.

Even though I may lack some skills or experiences, there is nothing I couldn't learn or get better at. I find satisfaction in taking on new challenges, like to solve complex problems and I need to see the meaning in my actions.

I like everything about hiking and traveling.

Drones - I fly them as well as build them.

3D printing - my quite recent hobby, enables me to create small gadgets and accessories. My business is oriented on accessories for drones.

Chess - beginner, but something I would like to invest some of my time into.

Photography and cameras - worked in a photography store and sold camera equipment, some wider knowledge is there.

Economics and geopolitics - as one of my interest, I like to know how the world around works.

Enjoying the nature - simply sitting anywhere with a great view and letting the thoughts float in my head.
