Travelling
Description
Hello there! I graduated high school last year and I’ve travelled Canada for 7 months right after that. Now I want to keep going on adventures and meet new people with different backgrounds.
Besides the natural landscape and nature diversity, I want to travel Central America to get to know new cultures, ways of life, as well as ways of thought.
I want to make experiences which teach me to step out of my comfort zone. I am also interested in maintaining a sustainable lifestyle, since humankind‘s future is something I care about:) Another goal of mine is to better my english and spanish knowledge, of course!
I like to play the guitar, draw, paint, read, run, play tennis, and try all kinds of sport you can do in- and outside. I enjoy going on day trips through nature.
My travels through North America helped me grow, and I want to have more of that!
I am excited about what this journey has to offer:)Interests

I just graduated high school and my majors were english, math and geography.
To earn some money I work in a winery. I helped everywhere help is needed, like in accountancy, but also in the bottling section.
I am currently working in the storage area of a mechanical engineering company.
I also got to work in a covid testing center for about a year.
German is my mother language. I learned english in school for nine years, french and spanish for five years each. I can also teach german and english.
I gave tutoring to children from second to eleventh grade, mostly in math, german and english.
For my internships, I was in an architectural bureau as well as in a mechanic shop, since I am interested in constructing and knowing how mechanisms like machines work.
I have some experience to carpenter as well. An example ist the chicken coop I built last year from scratch.
Furthermore, I have experience renovating, including painting.
I‘ve also cut my father‘s hair several times. He was always satisfied with the finished product.)
Since we live in a rural area, I have experience in gardening. I am able to take care of my avocado plants, which includes repotting.
Besides all of the above, I am eager to learn new things and to improve my capabilities as much as I possibly can!Age

The work she wanted me to do was never too hard or too much. Some tasks I did by myself, others were two-peple jobs, so we worked on them together.
Jamie introduced me to her friends and family, which I am unbelievably grateful for. I met SO many awesome people of the Haida Gwaii community! Jamie really made an… read more
They made me feel like a part of their family from minute one and we had an open communication throughout my entire stay. I loved spending time with them and their daughters. We laughed a lot together and I appreciated their humor.

I was involved in gardening, painting, watching the kids, cooking, cleaning, apple picking, but most of all: fun activities! I was lucky to get the opportunity to go hiking, kayaking, surfing, and much more.… read more
Cheryl always let me choose between several tasks and let me decide when I do them. Work was never hard, but always enjoyable, because she never demanded too much. I was able to structure my day the way I wanted to, which I really appreciated.
Cheryl took care of my dietary needs and the food was always healthy… read more
I enjoyed doing the work that needed to be done and everything she asked me to do was definitely manageable. (Those tasks were mostly weeding, cleaning the windows and scrubbing.) She let me work on my own pace, which took a lot of pressure off of me.
She made sure I… read more
Most of the work we did in my three weeks at her’s was in the garden. We got everything „ready for summer“, which included weeding, planting, watering and mowing. I enjoyed working with her since she created a really comfortable environment. Esther was a contribution to that as well:)
Even during my off-time… read more
