Description

Pierre and me are happy to be on a Working Holiday Visa in Australia since the beginning of March 2025.

Since we are in Australia, we have worked during 2 months in cereal farm and we did a volunteer work during 1 week on a sheep farm.

Before Australia, Pierre and me traveled to Canada from October 2022 to August 2023. We had the opportunity to carry out differents volunteers via Workaway and another platform.

These were very beautiful human experiences. We have been in various places (farms, host families, vineyards, etc.), we have carried out numerous missions: carpentry help, volunteer agricultural animal (cows, horses, donkeys, goats, llamas,...) and wine worker, permaculture, gardening, exterior renovation, house-keeping, etc.

In August 2024, we had the opportunity, as employees, to return to Canada to work as field assistants for geologists in the Far North. On-site, we took part in mineral exploration: preparing samples, searching for minerals, taking measurements, and capturing photos. Settled in a camp, we had a wonderful experience combining fieldwork and meaningful human connections.

In France, Pierre has ten years' experience in continuous improvement and logistics as a methods technician. For my part, Manon, I've been working for several years in coaching, training and, before that, sales.

Together, we love to "discover". We love outdoor adventures, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, bivouacking and lots more. :)

Pierre has 10 years of experience as a methods technician (continuous improvement, logistics, safety) and I, Manon, 4 years of experience in professional support, training, and previously 2-3 years in the commerce (advice, sales, e-commerce).

From a personal point of view, we have skills in : gardening, painting, small crafts, wood, cooking,... good relational contact.

What else ...

We like simple things, and outdoor activities.

We regularly hike in medium and high mountains (France: Vosges, Alps, Jura; Germany: Black Forest, Moselle; Switzerland (cantons): Bern, Lucerne), we also like to bivouac from time to time.

We practice running, and sometimes mountain races, downhill skiing, and snowshoeing.

We love to travel and discover new countries, we are lucky to have been able to discover the following countries: Thailand, United States, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Germany,…

And a lot of others things !!!.
