Having grown up close to the mountains in Bavaria and studying marketing in Munich my life changed a 180 degrees when I spantaneously decided to move to Fuerteventura - a tiny desert island in the atlantic. But I just helplessly fell in love with the stunning nature and surfing. Fastforward 4 years and I am working as an adaptive surf instructor with kids and adults with diasbilites. And as much as I love my home here, I feel eager for some new adventures and to discover more beautiful places!
My interests are really broad, I love surfing, but really enjoy basically any outdoor sport. Regarding skills I am happy to jump in wherever necesary, ranging from diy building projects to working with kids.

More details about my language interests
I am a bit language-obsessed ;-) My mother tongue is German and through traveling I have gotten a solid level of English as well. Living and working on the Canary Islands I could add Spanish to my skillset. Then there are a few others that I have startet when I was younger for fun. I would love to add another language to my repertoire and I am pretty curious about a language that is completely different from the ones I know so far. And reversed, I would be thrilled if I can help you with my languages.

My skills are quite broad and I am happy to jump in wherever it is needed. Some of my skills:
- Construction & DIY projects: I have built two insulated rooms in my house last year in a complete solo mission and this allowed me to learn a lot about renovations and building projects.
- Childcare: I used to work as a tutor for several years before I moved to Fuerteventura. Here I work as a surf instructor with local kids and kids with disabilities.
- Cultural Exchange: I am fluent in Spanish, English and German. My Italian is alright and I know some basics in French. If you want to share some language knowledge, I am absolutely happy to add another and help you with one of the above.
- Gardening: I have worked on an eco-farm here on the Canary Islands for several months.
- Marketing: My professional background is in marketing (bachelor and 5 years+ work experience). I am happy to help out on a project's social media work or other marketing activities.

What else ...

I love remote places! I could hike and listen to a book for ages and would probably never get bored ;-) Whenever I am close to the ocean, you can bet I will find a possibility to surf - does not matter if theres rain or snow.
In a nutshell: I am simply looking for new experiences, I am so curious what life has to offer and I want to see all sides of it. I have no problem with hard work, because I want to do it for the experience.
