    A little introduction...

Well, I enjoy traveling quite a bit and have had the pleasure of visiting 23 countries so far. My favorite places have been The Cote D'Azur region of France, Madeira Portugal, and the various smaller Greek Islands. I would say that I am drawn to beautiful quaint villages, simple living, and nature. I am in my late 50's and I am definitely attracted to the slower pace of life.

I usually travel alone from December through February as I have the flexibility in the winter months to travel. I own a private gardening business back at home in Hudson, Quebec, Canada. We manage 25 properties from April through October.

I would say that I am thoroughly enjoying life to the fullest! I always knew my 50's were going to be the best chapter of my life, and they absolutely are ! I guess you could say I am designing it nicely. I am independent, curious about life, eager to try new things, and in great health. I also speak english and french fluently.

I decided to give up the hectic pace of the corporate world, a few years ago...and it has been the best decision for me as it completely changed the trajectory of my life. I became a private gardener instead, as well as a private home care giver for seniors. And so, not only am I spoiled by being able to work outdoors in nature, and to be in great physical condition, but I also have the ability to love, nurture, and contribute to others in a meaningful way.

I am happy, fulfilled and grateful. I can honestly say I look forward to the things I am doing, and am curious about what will come next.

Some of my interests are: self-awareness and life coaching, meditating, journaling, I have hosted many book clubs, and deeply enlightening spiritual discussion groups, travelling, and hosting wellness retreats, I have had many horses in my life, as well as my own little speedboat. I also enjoy kayaking, skiing, gardening, interior decorating, as well as some light home renovations.

Some of my greatest influences in terms of self-improvement and spirituality has been Abraham Hicks, Law of Attraction, Rhonda Byrne, The Greatest Secret, Jospeh Brenner, Living Untethered by Michael Singer, The Impersonal Self, Eckhart Tolle, Awaken to Your Life's Purpose, Jan Frazier The Sweetness of Just Being, Gregg Braden, The Power of your Beliefs, Brooke Castillo The Think Feel Act Cycle, Joe Dispenza, Becoming Supernatural, as well as various teachings by Wayne Dyer, Bruce Lipton, and many more. My passion is self-growth, and stimulating conversations.

In fact, a few years back, I ran the Montreal Abraham Hicks Law of Attraction MeetUp group for 2 years hosting fabulous discussions every 2n Friday evening. I also hosted a wellness retreat for 12 guest in a small island in Skiathos, Greece. Gosh, so many great memories!

Lastly, I would say that the reason I enjoy the Work Away program, is because it provides a great balance of being able to have company and conversation in the day, as traveling alone can be very isolating at times. Plus, it gives me a sense of purpose in working a few hours each day, and yet to have some time to myself to enjoy my own company and explore the towns nearby.

In closing, I would like to thank you in advance for your time, and consideration. I look forward to meeting you and embarking on some new adventures together.

    Kindly,

    Lynda

I speak English and French and have a university degree. I have worked in the corporate world as an executive assistant to VP,s as well as managed inventory systems for large electronic companies for the past 30 years. But when I turned 50, I chose to transition my career, and have become a private gardener in the rural town of Hudson, Quebec, Canada. Many of the properties are large, with multiple garden beds, tropical ponds, with various designs. Our season runs from April through October.

I also care for seniors in their homes. Doing odd jobs, cooking, cleaning, shopping, driving them to appointments and attending social activities, etc. I enjoy chatting with seniors and learning from their life experiences. It adds to the quality of my life.

I had a son, Morgan, that was born with Angelman's Syndrome. He was severely handicapped, he could not speak, or eat on his own, and was confined to a wheelchair all his life. He was my "Little Warrior of Light" and absolutely my greatest teacher in life. He passed away at 19 years old, and so I needed to re-invent myself. Working with seniors was a life-saver for me in times of transition.

I also teach life-coaching to women privately , and host Womens's Circles throughout the year. To understand the power of your belief systems, and how to master your mind and control your thoughts and feelings on purpose. As well as to how to unwind some negative habits such as overeating and drinking.
