Hi there! I'm Luise, a curious mind from Leipzig, Germany.
I usually work as a high school teacher for Art and English, but I was lucky enough to be granted a seven-month sabbatical. I love my job, but I'm also excited to see more of the world - especially one of my favorite places of all: the British Isles.

During my student years, I spent a lot of time traveling, doing Workaway, and Couch Surfing, and I’m excited to experience that again. I'd also like to enhance my English skills and deepen my understanding of the language. By immersing myself in British culture and connecting with its people, I hope to teach English as authentically as possible when I return to my job.

I adapt easily to new environments and social groups, and I love learning new things.
In my free time, I’m always working on creative projects, reading excessively, and staying active. I enjoy going to the gym, dancing, practicing yoga and going for long walks and hikes.
Spending time with friends is also very important to me as well as attending cultural events like theater performances, concerts, and community gatherings.

I'm looking forward to new adventures and meeting great people along the way!
