Hello everyone! My name is Luca, a nineteen-year-old guy from Italy.

This will be my first trip with Workaway. I am looking for a thriving experience that could help me develop and grow as a person while I help others and give a new twist to my life in a foreign country.
My real happiness can be found in traveling, I'm a real hunter of new experiences and new acquaintances.

Firstly, I would like to talk about my education. I’ll graduate from high school this year and I think Workaway can be the perfect experience before starting university.
My high school curriculum doesn’t provide specific technical preparation, however, I enjoy doing manual work such as gardening and cooking. I am a quick learner and willing to acquire new skills and knowledge. Moreover, during weekends I work in a clothing shop.

Last year I spent 11 months in Uruguay for an exchange program, where I learned very good Spanish. I can also speak English fluently and my native language is Italian. If you are looking to improve your Italian skills or simply want to learn a new language, I’m glad to help.

Talking about me, I am an enthusiastic and ambitious guy, I like being around people even though I enjoy taking some moments for myself. I’m a sensitive young man with the desire to do something to make our world a better place.

I'm attending the last year of high school and I will graduate in a few months. My schooling curricula provide theoretical knowledge in the scientific area. During weekends I work in a clothing shop where I've learned how to work with people.
