Description
Hi there! I’m Lucas, a 25-year-old from Switzerland with a love for adventure, hard work, and the great outdoors. My journey has taken me through many different experiences—from working as a trained chef to studying filmmaking, serving in restaurants, and even spending a winter season in the far north of Sweden, guiding sled dogs through the snow. I like to try out new things every now and again ;)
What motivates me the most is the chance to work with my hands, be part of a team, and learn new skills along the way. Whether it’s cooking up a meal, taking care of animals, or simply putting in a good day’s work, I enjoy the satisfaction that comes from a job well done. I also have a deep appreciation for nature and simple, off-grid living—one day, I’d love to have my own little place in the countryside, maybe with a dog or two by my side.
Right now, I’m looking for new experiences abroad and meet great people along the way. I’m not afraid of long days or physical work—I know what it means to put in the effort, and I always try to bring a good attitude with me.Languages spoken

More details about your skills
I bring a mix of practical skills, adaptability, and a strong work ethic to any job I take on.
As a trained chef, I have experience working in professional kitchens and can handle cooking for groups, meal planning, and working efficiently under pressure. Beyond that, I’ve worked in restaurant service, giving me good people skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
The season I've spent in northern Sweden working with sled dogs, taught me a lot about animal care, outdoor work, and handling long, physically demanding days in harsh conditions.
I wouldn’t say I’m the fastest learner—I like to take my time to really understand things. I’m not someone who jumps in headfirst, making mistakes and learning as I go. Instead, I prefer to observe, understand the process, and do things right from the start. Once I feel comfortable with the people around me and the work I’m doing, I become a reliable and hardworking team member who gives my best every day.
Overall, I’d say I’m quite versatile and accustomed to putting in hard work.Age
