Description
Hey
I'm from Germany and I first travelled through Australia and South-East-Asia for 14 months. My second travel lasted 12 months and I was primarily in South-America and Spain.
During my travels I worked on farms, construction sites, hostels, dog shelters and different kinds of Workaway's. Over the course of these I gained experience with various tools, power machines (Miter saw, jackhammer, bandsaw,...) and wood working.
I appreciate the opportunity to work at a nice place and be able to really get a feel for the region you are working in.
Travelling for me is mostly about nature and sceneries, but also the lifestyle of each country.
As you can see from my reviews I am generally very easy going and basically just need a bed and some food to be happy.Interests

After working in Australia I learned how to fix things in a house like lights, toilets or doors. I also got to practice with heavy machinery like a forklift or a jackhammer.
After working a cafe in Germany I gained experience in hospitality, bartending and just making people feel comfortable during their stay.
In addition to that I studied marketing in Germany so I could help advertising your business locally and on the Internet as well.
Through Workaway I gained experience in all kinds of farm work. If it's using chicken shit as manure, cutting firewood, picking fruits and veggies or plucking weeds. Additionally, I was able to take part in basic building projects where I learned to work with wood and gain experience with a variety of power tools.Age

the work is not very hard although it is useful to have basic tool knowledge. I was working with Linnea another Workawayer and we were able to build a potato patch and almost finished two planter boxes. Olav and Knut Arne were really appreciative of everything… read more
Everyone who works there for a longer time is a really good soul and will be able to help you with whatever problems or questions you might have.
Highly recommend this Workaway
Usually you have to work something in the garden for about 4 hours a day. After those 4 hours you are completely free to do whatever you want. I usually ate some Lunch And then went for a walk in the nature. The nature here is amazing pretty much exactly what you imagine when you hear "Jungle". You can reach a… read more

It is possible that you have to work more than 5 hours a day for 5 days a week but I enjoyed my stay anyways.
It is really important to know that you have to get up in the night to quiet down the dogs. That… read more
