Hi,

I'm Lottie and I love meeting new people! I'd like to join a workaway where I can immerse myself in the local community and make new and long lasting connections.

I love being creative and getting to work on any creative project, but I'm also up for pretty much anything! Just looking to gain new skills as I'm always looking to learn new things. I'm generally a very fast learner and am looking for new experiences.

I am currently looking to stay at workaways with my sister as we want to spend time travelling together. We have different skill sets and offer a wide range of expertise between us!

I enjoy learning new languages and am currently bilingual. I am a native English speaker and speak french as my mother is French. Recently I have felt this language slipping as well as I do not practice it as much so would be interested in a talking partner to help me get better at recalling the language.

My main skills are in creative projects: I love to sew clothes and crochet and have done one or two woodworking projects. I also have skills in coooking/baking so am happy to cook meals for my hosts! I am generally good at creative/manual work and am a quick learner in this space. I always love to learn new skills and spend time honing a craft, so any opportunity to learn a new skill is greatly appreciated, whether that is creatively or more manual labour work/gardening.

I am especially interested in learning how to ride horses, wood working, stone masonry and gardening/learning about medicinal plants.

I am a first language English speaker and can speak French at roughly a B2 level as well as beginner German.

I am about to graduate university with a bachelor's in psychology and have some experience working in this field, mainly having worked in a charity looking after children with learning and mental disablities. I found this work very rewarding and am happy to work with/around children.

I am also a very active person and regularly go hiking and climbing as well as being proficient at teaching and practicing archery. I also hold a valid UK manual driver's license.
