Description
We are Ricardo and Anthea, and we come from Italy. 🧑🏽🦱👱🏼♀️
We are two happy and adventurous people who love to discover new things whenever we can.
The past few years brought us many new experiences. Traveling around the world has allowed us to truly discover who we are and to nurture our love for everything around us, while living in authentic settings—volunteering, working as au pairs with foreign families, and keeping our hearts open to everything that came our way. Spending time in different environments, especially with children, has taught us to appreciate the simple things in life and to realize that giving your time to others is a gift everyone should have.
This is the spirit that drives us to the other side of the world: adventure, curiosity, and the desire to immerse ourselves fully in local cultures.
Ricardo: I’m a friendly and outgoing guy who loves living life to the fullest.Wild adventures in nature are part of who I am, as well as all the crazy outdoor activities you can possibly imagine. My best friend is my camera—I love telling stories through photos and videos from all over the world.
For the last three years, I’ve been living in Liguria, the region where I was born. During summer, I manage a beach, and the rest of the year I work as a videomaker and photographer. That’s where I met Anthea, and from the very first day we knew we wanted to finish our studies and jobs so we could finally travel together with our backpacks.
Anthea: I’m an outgoing, curious, and energetic girl. I live for diving headfirst into whatever my heart says yes to, letting myself be carried away by the moment and chasing the side of me I love the most: adrenaline! I share a passion for photography with my boyfriend, and together we are refining our skills so we can keep growing as a team.
I’ve just graduated in Applied Foreign Languages for Business and Management in Nice (France), a city where I lived for two years, after an Erasmus experience in Granada (Spain) that allowed me to fully embrace my favorite language, Spanish. I had been waiting for this milestone for a long time, because to me it means finally being able to open the doors to my greatest dream: traveling. 🌏

More details about your skills
We're two people who are happy to take part every new experience that meets our way.
We love working together, the spirit of adaptability has always been the driving force behind every journey.
Ricardo: the experiences at home and around the world have taught me so much and given me the opportunity to discover things I never thought to do. Living in Australia for a year in 2018 opened doors to the world and allowed me to discover a connection with nature in every aspect, something I would never give up. I enjoy to do many things, create new ideas and putting into practice the things I do best:
- photography & videomaking
- social media
- gardener and house keeping
- hospitality and catering
- barman, barista and waiter
- cooking nice dishes
- picking fruit in a farm
-play with children
Anthea: Since I was little, I spent my days picking olives in my grandfather’s fields, gardening, and even milking my uncle’s goats. I was lucky enough to grow up in a beautiful family-run restaurant, where my grandparents were the chefs and owners, and my dad worked as the waiter. I always loved helping my grandmother prepare dishes and desserts, but as I grew older, I realised how much I enjoyed being around people—so I chose to work in the dining area with my dad. (My best skill is filleting fish, though I have to admit… eating it is my favourite part! 🙈)
I’ve always loved learning languages, mostly because it allows me to connect with anyone. I speak Italian, English, French, Spanish, and a bit of Chinese. Thanks to this knowledge, I’ve had the chance to work in luxury restaurants and on private yachts as a stewardess.
I’ve always been a creative soul. With my parents, we even built a little countryside house and a tree swing. I might not be able to fix bones, but I spent years working as an ambulance attendant. I’ve always had a passion for children too, so alongside my main job, I also work as a babysitter.
Another big passion of mine is writing travel guides, and during my Erasmus year in Spain, I worked as a photographer for a travel agency. In short, I like being a bit of everything 🌏
