Description
One of my greatest passions in life is travelling and enjoying the freedom this offers me. It means to me exploring a different country, getting to know new people and cultures, learning new languages, eating foreign food, and so much more. My favourite trip was my backpacking trip through South Africa a few years ago, because I could surf every day for a whole month (my surfing skills are still far from good but it was so much fun!). It was also my first experience working abroad, as I volunteered in a hostel near the beach in the city George (I applied for this opportunity via a similar website). I love how volunteering allows you to meet so many new people, stay at a foreign place and learn some new skills.

During school and my bachelor studies I worked for a service agency, for which I did multiple and diverse jobs - I worked several times in a football stadium, I helped with the catering at different events, in hotels and other accommodations, I did promotion jobs, sometimes I also helped with logistical tasks and much more. This helped me to be able to adapt to different environments and people as well as getting used to new tasks quite quickly. I also worked in a hotel for a few months (until the pandemic started), where I covered mainly the night shifts - thus, I checked the guests in and out, prepared the breakfast, and was there for the guests if they needed anything. After this I worked in customer service (incoming calls, emails and chat with customers) for a payment provider.
