Description
I am a community-focused person who loves nothing better than getting to know people, whilst being active, preferably out in natural environments or in a kitchen!
Scotland is my home; I live in the fabulous city of Glasgow and I work in the Scottish Highlands facilitating eco-holidays for a nature conservation NGO. Whilst at work I live in temporary communities where we work, cook, eat, learn and relax together, which is quite similar to the Workaway experience!
For me happiness is being in the comfortable company of others, either relaxing together or being active together... talking, sharing, singing, whilst working with our hands for example, whilst weeding a flower bed or chopping vegetables.
Pure happiness for me is being in the sunshine, with loved ones, swimming in natural waters, camping, sitting around the fire, going for walks, eating good food and being surrounded by trees.Interests

What else ...
This is not my first time with Workaway; I volunteered on projects in Canada, Guatemala, Scotland and in Spain with a total of 7 different projects between 2013-2017.. for a total time of approx. 6 months. I'm a bit heart-broken as for some annoying technical reason I was unable to log back into my old account so have created a new one! I absolutely love Workaway; meeting wonderful hosts and volunteers and getting involved in community projects is my idea of travelling well.
