Hello! My name is Liv, I love the outdoors, art, music, food and traveling. I have been a professional chef for the past 10 years and my time has come to set sail and experience something new! I dream of one day owning my own self sustaining homestead where I can host family and friends, building a long lasting relationship with the land that will nourish our minds as well as our bodies. I plan to work and learn as much as I can from my various communities to eventually make my dream a reality!

I am a very hard worker with a knack for thinking outside of the box. I love learning new skills and typically pick things up quickly. I have lots of experience with cooking (all types of cuisines really) but refuse to limit myself to just that. I am interested in learning about sustainable farming, gardening, home renovation, carpentry and living off the land.

I thoroughly enjoy a good puzzle and a riveting game of Settlers of Catan. I have been learning to play chess, although I’m not very good just yet. Over the last year I have been toying with some fermentation projects as well as developing my own recipe/cook book. I also love reading, roller blading, writing, painting and on occasion, a good glass of wine.
