Hello there!

I want an off the grid, slightly isolated place in the upper parts of our Scandinavian mountains.
I have done Workaway at four different locations in the past; France at the age of 18 and Chile just last year. All of these experiences are my most vivid and enjoyable travel memories.
I’m an active person - in my free time I play football, run and kitesurf. I’ve recently started with woodworking in which I’m learning more and more about the craft. I’d love to be at a place during my Workaway stay where I can delve deeper into this. I love being hands on and doing physical labour; chopping wood, gardening, building things, fixing things etc. I’m a product designer so problem solving is one of my core strengths. I’m currently working in the more digital sphere of design. Thus I can gladly help out with anything related to web/mobile/graphic design, photography/video. (Although I’d prefer to be as offline as possible during my vacation.)

I have previous experience from Workaway, I have worked at farms and smaller homes in the south of France for a couple of months at a younger age. In another life, I'd be a carptenter. I enjoy building things, working with big tools or using just my hands. I've renovated parts of my apartment on my own and me and Arvid are currently building a sauna together.

Besides this I'm good with children, having worked as a nanny and babysitter for many years this is something I also enjoy and can contribute with. In my freetime I go for runs, kitesurf and make a mean negroni!

I found Line to be very helpful, thorough with all the tasks set, adaptable, hardworking and with a cheerful disposition. She totally spring cleaned our house, with direction, and worked in the garden, weeding and clearing leaves. Thank you Line for all your effort and time, we totally appreciate your help.

I spent two weeks with Kate and Robert in their beautifully located house. The work was varied and included tasks such as cleaning (with their super effective steam cleaner), working in the garden and raking leaves. The food was delicious and the accommodation was more than comfortable.

I had the most wonderful month at Sylvie's house! She's such a lovely character and was very kind to me. She took us to the nearby Pottery village which was so beautiful and we got to come with her to meet all of her friends and even go to a birthday party. Her son even took me to Nîmes.
