Hello!
I'm Lina, a 31 year old swede who sold her apartment and quit her job to travel the world. I’ve tried many different paths and changed a lot of directions, and I believe that is a big part of what has helped me to grow. I was in the Navy for many years before changing to a career in Social work. I've learned not to be afraid of change but to embrace it. New experiences push me to become a better version of myself, and what is life if not that? Traveling to new places and meeting new people hopefully also is going to play a significant role in that process.

I could describe art as my passion, or savior —the medium whether it’s digitally, with pencils, or paints, matters less! I firmly believe that humans thrive when we express ourselves and I may even think it's something necessary for us to feel fulfilled? I love giving old things new life and find the process of reinvention inspiring, whether it's upcycling materials or redesigning an old shirt. Creativity comes in many forms and a free mind can find the joy and beauty in almost anything.

Spirituality is a important part of who I am and how I try to live my life, I love learning new things about life and see things from another perspective. I try to live with intention, but still follow the wind. In the end all I seek is to live a meaningful life, whatever that is! I love being outdoors and in nature, it's were I feel free and connected to all things and other beings.

I enjoy working with my hands and always have projects ongoing at home. Having spent many years in the navy, I'm accustomed to maintenance work and know how to put in the effort when needed. I also hold a degree in social work, so I guess you could say I have solid skills in working with people. I've worked as a counselor and have experience in various group dynamics, making me adaptable to different team environments.

I'm always eager to learn new things and would describe myself as both practical and creative when it comes to work! I can sew, saw, hammer, paint—basic handywork is something I'm familiar with!

Having owned a horse for many years, I'm experienced in riding. I've also had dogs and rabbits, giving me decent experience in taking care of animals.
