Hello Workaway community!
My name is Liana, and I’ve spent much of my life helping people learn and connect across cultures. I teach English online and have worked with learners from around the world, but what I love most is discovering new places, meeting new people, and being part of local communities.
I grew up on a small farm, so caring for animals and working with my hands comes naturally. I’m comfortable feeding animals, gardening, organizing spaces, and helping with general house tasks. I’m also organized and tech-savvy, so I can assist with basic computer or admin work when needed.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, painting, journaling, swimming, hiking, biking, and spending time outdoors. Nature and animals bring me peace, while music and creativity keep me inspired. I love learning and sharing languages and cultures, so if you’d like to practice English (or Romanian / Spanish), I’d be happy to help. I also understand French and would love more practice speaking it.I usually prefer quiet, remote places, but I also enjoy exploring cities and their stories.
This past summer, I gave guided walking tours of my hometown, sharing its culture and history with visitors. It made me realize how much I enjoy showing people around, sharing insights, and organizing itineraries. I hope to get my tour guide certification in the future.
I’m responsible, adaptable, and always curious to learn. I’d be happy to help with language practice, animal care, or daily chores while sharing stories, laughter, and good company along the way.

I like sports and I am eager to try on new ones, especially if they are water sports. I have been swimming since I was 4, love hiking, bicycle riding, skiing anything that would keep me active.
I am trying to learn more about being a zero waste person, to learn more about recycling and how to keep the planet clean.
From early on, I took a keen interest in languages, art, music and literature. Currently I am trying to improve my French and Spanish. I hope in the near future to learn Arabic and German.
Aside from Romania, I have lived a couple of months in both France and Poland.

Alison taught me how to drive the 4x4 up and down those hills, and since I love driving, it was a nice thing to learn :)
