Description
I’m currently travelling around Australia with my best friend Emma, I’ve been in Australia since October ’25 doing workaways and she has come to join me for a couple of months. I feel so lucky to have her here with me. We both worked together at a fabric and wallpaper company for seven years. We are both creative and enjoy similar things – picnics on the beach, sunsets, being around animals, deep, inspiring chats, playing cards, being out in nature, reading!
We both have young children in our families so are very use to looking after them and are excellent at creative play and coming up with fun ideas!
Myself and Emma work incredibly well together, we seem to create balance in everything we do, Emma sees the bigger picture and likes structure, and I see details and prefer to go with the flow. Somehow together we meet in the middle or lean towards each other’s way when necessary or use this to tackle tasks efficiently. We are both calm, kind, thoughtful, self-sufficient and resourceful. Our work as interior stylists involved managing teams of 10+ on photoshoots, large budgets, loading and unloading lots of furniture and props onto vans, presenting to CEO’s and clients, creating storytelling, lots of logistics – we are well-equipped to handle anything!
I first travelled to Australia early last year with my younger brother, we had the best time, it was so special to explore the world together and have all of these shared stories forever. I particularly loved Australia, as I always knew I would, my Auntie lived here for a year around the time when I was born and I grew up listening to her talk about what a special place it was. I love the way of life here, the people I met the first time I was here were so kind and sweet and I somehow felt more myself whilst I was here. I came back to Aus hoping to meet new people, spend some more time in nature and learn some new skills and I’ve certainly done that through workaway over the past few months. Whilst I was travelling with my brother, one of my favourite experiences was staying at home stays and meeting the wonderful people who let us into their lives and their homes. It felt such a privilege to experience that so workaway felt like the perfect fit. I also left my job really craving to do something that felt good for the soul. This really does fulfil that, helping individuals and families in small and big ways is so special and rewarding.

More details about your skills
I'm incredibly organised, efficient and detail-orientated.
I have a 1st degree in fashion design and marketing, I specialised in graphics so very capable with computer skills. I bought a camera earlier in the year and have been taking lots of beautiful photos. I love to prepare and cook food, I find it really therapeutic.
I have grown up with dogs and understand the love and care they need.
I have three brothers, two are younger (one is now 20 but I was largely involved in raising him and all that entails and I also have an 8 year old brother who is always teaching me new things!)
Elderly people seem to love me, my 80 year old neighbours have admitted they would like to adopt me. My grandmother is one of my closest friends. I'm an excellent care-giver. Very aware of what people need, sometimes before they are. I was once called a 'diva wrangler' at my past job and although that was not something I particularly enjoyed, it gave me the confidence that I can handle pretty much anything. This job often entailed me managing a photography team of 10+ people, managing large budgets and organising events for 100 people.
I have also recently project managed a renovation and designed, sourced furniture, accessories and decorated a cottage by the sea.

What else ...
In my spare time, I go for walks with our family dog Mabel, I visit my grandmother to natter over tea and cake, I love making photo scrap books - i'm in the process of making one of all travels my brother and I did earlier this year, I love to read (mostly rom-coms and self-help books), listening to music (indie/folk), watching films (animation, ghibli, romance, comedies)
Me and my brothers often play on Mario Kart when we're altogether, this is the loudest you'll ever hear us as we get very passionate about winning, although we never compete against each other, we always work as a team to collectively win.
We also love to play Articulate, Bananagrams and 6 second scribbles.
