Description
Hi there!
My name is Leonie, and I live in Switzerland. For over a year now, I've been traveling with Workaway and Helpx, exploring different places while working along the way and I absolutely loved it!
After finishing high school, I went to England for my first Workaway experience, where I lived and worked in a community for a while. From there, I traveled to Morocco to teach German at a language school. My journey then took me to New Zealand, where I explored the country before heading to Australia. In Australia, I did three more Workaways: one on a Hare Krishna farm, another at a charity for wild horses, and the last one with a couple, helping them around their home.
In March 2024, I returned to Switzerland and completed two internships—one in a hospital and another in a rehabilitation clinic. After gaining some work experience in Switzerland, I decided to continue traveling and spent time in France, staying with a family and working on two more horse farms.
Back in Switzerland, I took a job as a carriage driver in the Swiss Alps for the winter season. This autumn, I plan to start studying to become a nurse, but until then, I’d love to take the opportunity to travel even more!
