Hello,
we are Talea & Leo, one 26 and one almost 26 years old.
We both study Psychology in a Master's degree and are currently in Salamanca for an Erasmus exchange.
We consider workaway as a great opportunity to share our abilities for a good purpose, while meeting new people and seeing something of the world.
We are interested in sports, art, nature, music and much more. We consider ourselves to be very responsible, kind and patient.
While we are curious and want to learn new things, we also like having a certain consistency over longer periods of time. That is why we prefer workaway over backpacking.

As my (Leos) first workaway stay was on a sheep farm in Iceland in March 2016, I am experienced in different types of work on a farm. That includes feeding animals, cleaning stables and various other things that need to be done. My second workaway in Denmark February 2020 included similar work and made me realize again that I do like to work with animals. In general, physical work is no problem for me.

Apart from that, we already spent two workaways together, in Spain and in Austria. There we also cared for animals and did some gardening and construction.

We both handle the household ourselves, so cleaning, cooking etc. is part of every day life for us.

Inma and Felix are kind hosts, and we felt welcomed by them. With their son Ramon it was always lively in the house.

Talea and Leo were the first volunteers that we had a Zoom ´job interview´ with. They asked for it. Apparently we were vetted OK, so in early February they arrived. The experience on the farm will differ to a great extent depending on the season. I was there in February and the work was mostly feeding the animals, gardening and other maintenance. Leo stayed with us for a month. He was a super guest, nice to be around. He is very intelligent, friendly, polite and kind person. He really helped us with taking care of animals and in the garden.

My stay at Halldors farm was my first workaway experience and I´m not sure if the following ones will ever be able to excel it.
