My name is Leo and I am 23 years old. I come from the south of Germany.
I have completed my university studies and I am now excited to gain new experiences abroad. I would describe myself as motivated, open-minded and communicative. I like to think along, take initiative and be a reliable support in a team.

Traveling has become one of my biggest passions. I have already spent three months traveling through Europe by train, seven weeks in the USA and four weeks in Indonesia. Soon I will travel to Jordan for two weeks and to Japan for three weeks. Experiencing different cultures and meeting new people inspires me a lot.
I love being active and spending time outdoors. Hiking, camping, sports and action-packed adventures are things I truly enjoy. I also like cooking, working on small building projects and being around animals.

Even though I don’t have Workaway experience yet, I am very motivated to learn and contribute. Canada has been a big dream of mine for a long time. I am looking for a host for 4–5 weeks to improve my English, experience the country’s incredible nature and become part of a welcoming community. I am really excited about this new adventure. 🇨🇦✨

I have experience in gardening, as I helped my parents regularly and took care of my own garden for two years. As a teenager, I also participated in a project where we visited gardening businesses to learn more about food production.

I enjoy practical work and small building projects. At home, I plastered and painted my own room and helped with maintenance tasks like oiling wooden benches. I also built toys for our rabbits and recently completed a wooden table soccer game from scratch.

I have experience with animals, having owned two rabbits and a cat, and I have done dogsitting for a friend’s Golden Retriever. Even though I don’t currently have pets, I feel very comfortable and responsible around animals.

Through my business studies and part-time job in a drugstore company, as well as holiday jobs at a postal service and a road construction company, I learned to work reliably, independently and as part of a team. I am physically fit, motivated and not afraid of hands-on work.

I love cooking for myself and others, especially after an active day outdoors. I am a family-oriented and social person, and while I don’t have professional childcare experience, I grew up with siblings and younger cousins.

I hold an international driver’s license and can drive both manual and automatic cars. Overall, I am reliable, open-minded, sporty and eager to learn and contribute wherever I can.
