Hello!
We're Leandro and Mercedes, both from Argentina.
Our main motivation is to travel and get to know new places, new landscapes, and to be able to share with the locals. We think it's the best way to really get to know when you travel.
We met each other in Antarctica last year, spent the hole year there working together, and now we are starting a new trip.

Leandro: I love travelling in general. A few years ago I started to travel by bicycle, wich I enjoyed a lot and consider is the best way to do it. I love the mountains and all the sports associated with it, which is why I have lived the last years in the Andes mountain range, as well as the sea, where I was born. I think so, I would qualify as an adventure traveler. I have previously done some volunteering on previous trips troughout South America, and had a couple of experiences through workaway during 2022, before Antarctica. I think it was a really good way to know places and people, and now I'd like to continue doing the same while travelling with Mercedes. Leandro: I have completed a university degree in biochemistry, and a PhD in biology, in the area of water quality. In addition, I have been a teacher since 2008, both in biology and chemistry at the university.
During my childhood, and later in some volunteer work, I have worked in gardens, so I am familiar with this type of work.
During my adolescence, while studying at the university, and later also during a trip to South America, I have worked as a waiter, coffee maker and bartender.
Before university I have obtained a degree as a tennis teacher, a sport that I practiced during my childhood, and I have taught children and adults.
I spent several years doing mountaneering, practicing lot of sports, mainly rock climbing and backcountry skiing, and did some wilderness safety and first aid courses.

Mercedes: I am a chemistry teacher and I am finishing my studies in chemistry and environmental technology. I have extensive experience in teaching at school level, and also in other work with children, such as party entertainer. I am also passionate about the garden and have worked in my own garden for some years.
