UPDATE: After three incredible months of traveling through Europe, and two very enriching workaway experiences, my adventure in Norway begins! I will arrive at the end of August, it would be perfect a host to introduce me to the place and start looking for a work for the winter season. You will always be in my mind if you are that person, or any information is going to be so appreciated since it is difficult to reach such a different country by my own.

Hello! I am a 24 year old Argentine traveler who is about to start his first experience in Europe.
I've been traveling (and working) for 4 years in Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay. At first only with my backpack and my hangdrum (handpan), hitchhiking, and then motorized on a 150cc motorcycle, having traveled more than 11 thousand km with her.
I am a lover of outdoor activities, that is why I work seasonally in places that allow me to enjoy going out to the mountains, climbing, or doing some activity in nature. Also, I enjoy cooking a lot, so I usually work in gastronomy, and cook in each meeting with friends. These two passions lead me more and more to want to travel the world.
Currently I applied for a Working Holiday visa in Norway, so I want to volunteer and travel during my 3 months allowed as a tourist in Europe, to then go to that country to work for 1 year.
I consider myself a charismatic person, calm, grateful, and who seeks in each moment to learn something new.
I hope you join me in this adventure, I want to know you and get a new friend/teacher on my life, which will surely stay with me for ever. Greetings! Lautaro Martinez.

Hola!
Lautaro Martinez.

I don´t use so much social networks, but I leave my fbk just to know me a bit more.

  • What skills do you have?

I have the facility to do many things, because I enjoy that and I focus on learning what I do not know.
As I said before, I enjoy cooking a lot, more when it is to share with others, the meals and the music shared in each place are the strongest memories I keep.
Before traveling, I studied to be a Biology teacher, and at the same time I worked in a laboratory performing the physical and chemical analysis of industrial foods. As a teacher, and in my daily life, I enjoy playing with the kids, taking care of them and encouraging them to be curious.
I have also worked as a carpenter and I like handicrafts. I helped for example to build almost all the furniture of a hostel in Chile, only with recycled pallets, in that experience I stayed volunteering in this place for more than 3 months.
On another occasion, in Brazil, I lived in an eco-village that practiced permaculture and sustainable cultivation (agrofloresta), so I learned to build houses following these principles, to maintain crops, harvest fruits and vegetables, produce products to consume and sell based on these, and many other things.
