Hey :)
Lara here! I'm looking into adding something meaningful to the world and the ones around me.

I've moved around a lil' bit these last few years and I'm longing to find community and a sense of belonging, that isn't in a concrete jungle, filled with lost souls. I feel that I've become more serious than I used to. I urge to share my life with like minded people, craving for deep connection with caring and lovely beings. For the last few years I've been on a soul searching path, being mindful about my presence here on Earth.

I find peace whilst drinking my cacao, sitting on my yoga mat or singing mantras. But my daily life has 2 sides and while needing money to pay the bills and having a roof over my head and food on the table, I end up doing what comes around.

I love fermentable goods, and being a biologist that has worked in the lab all my life, I love experimenting at home :)
I like to meet people from cultures different from mine and with different ways of living.
I'm into yoga, reiki, meditation, music, singing, dancing, hiking, swimming in the sea, caring for others. I love being in nature, although I don't do it as much as I could.

I grew up in Portugal and emigrated in my 30s, lived in 3 different countries in Europe and moved mostly for work. Now I want to change that and live in a place that feels like home and find a meaningful purpose to call work.

This is the year to be more present and do more of the things that make me happy.

I am a problem solver and love fixing things with tape :P I like to make things easier for people to use, improve efficiency and organise stuff. I know how to cook, bake, make sourdough bread, kombucha, kimchi and other fermentable goodies. I know a lot about coffee, craft beer and wine.
I like to teach and I'm good with detailed and methodical work. I am good with Microsoft Office, Databases, Rstudio.
I knit, practice yoga and meditation and I am a reiki healer.
I know how to play the Saxophone and to read music scores. I love to sing.
I'm fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
