Hey there, I am Lale!

I am German and currently working with kids in a NGO that organizes surflessons in Valparaíso, Chile, but I am always making new travel plans :) I love to surf, to meet new inspiring people, to do trips together and to try new food. I enjoy communicating with people from different countries as I speak Spanish, French, English and German.

I have the desire to discover the world and go on traveling in order to dive deep into other cultures, to get in contact with locals and to get inspired by new people with different lifestyles. I have lived for a year in France for a cultural volunteering service which has been an incredible experience. I learned surfing in Portugal and I love to explore new surf spots during my travels.

I am an open-minded and creative person driven by a huge curiosity in the world. I am enthusiastic for art and culture and I love creating things myself, like drawing or sowing my own clothes. I love being around other people and having interesting conversations, but I also need time for myself in order to recharge. In my freetime I love to do photography, to do yoga and to play instruments.

I can teach the basics in English, Spanish, French and German. I really want to know as many languages a possible. Even if I only stay in a place for some weeks I try to learn some basic words of the local language to understand and talk

I am an overall creative, hands-on, fast and attentive learner who feels comfortable with working independently, if needed, but equally enjoys doing so communally. I have pedagogical skills and I like doing all kinds of creative projects, like drawing or sowing. As a former youth worker and babysitter, I have experience working with children. Working as a waitress in a restaurant allowed me to gain experience in service. I love cooking healthy food and trying new recipes.
I am passionate about learning new skills and ready to adapt.
