Hi, I'm your fellow Lithuanian girl Laima! I just finished my upper-secondary studies and taking a gap year to relax and explore the world while also gaining work or volunteering experience🌍.

I am a really curious, responsible, adventurous, and open-minded person, so I think we will get along! I can produce great work results while working individually as well as in a team. The main thing that brings me joy and motivation is the purpose and knowing that I can contribute to the community, so I give my best in what I do. I am interested in environmental issues, minimalism, and overconsumption, so I am aware of what impact I am making.

Since a young age, I loved to explore the world and get to know new people. I think that changing my environment and getting out of my comfort zone is what grows me the most, so I'm always ready for challenges, problem-solving, and learning.

It is my dream to live abroad for a longer period of time, I really hope you can help me to fulfill it☺️. I look forward to hearing from you!

Some of my work experiences and what skills do it taught me:
- I have good communication skills with clients because I worked in a marketing agency, worked with organizations like Red Cross, Red Noses;
- I worked one summer as a waitress and also have some bartending experience;
- I'm great with kids, always looked up after my younger siblings and cousins on weekends or in summer;
- Since a young age I was always been a big helper for my grandparents in the countryside, I have experience working in a garden;
- I'm always helping my parents with general maintenance of the house: I can cook basic meals, clean up, and tidy up.

What else ...

I have visited a lot of European countries (Norway, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, and Greece). Also I every summer explore my home country - Lithuania. Since I'm still young, most of my trips were not that long (up to 10 days), but I do not think it is enough time to explore the country's culture, so it is my dream to live in a foreign country for a longer time.

When it comes to spending my free time, I have quite a variety of hobbies:
- various physical activities: walking, hiking, different sports, pilates, yoga;
- dancing (I danced contemporary dance for 6 years, and now I especially enjoy bachata or salsa);
- spending time in nature;
- reading;
- journaling;
- playing piano (I finished elementary music school).
