Description

Hi, my name is Chang, I'm 30 years old from China, I've lived in Italy for 3 years, in South America for 7 months and in the USA for 4 months. Now I live in Piacenza.
- I speak very fluent English, intermediate Italian (if you speak slower, with simpler words and no dialect, I can basically understand it completely) and beginner Spanish (nonetheless, I understand more than I speak), and I'm still learning.
- I am certified by the Confucius Institute to teach Chinese as a foreign language. I was a book editor and have published more than 20 books, so my Chinese is at a professional level. I have participated in the translation of subtitles for some Italian TV series and movies, and I have translated two books from English to Chinese and published them in China.
- I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (Beijing Institute of Technology) and I am currently studying Architecture at Politecnico di Milano (in Italian, one year before graduation). I studied at Universidad de Chile as an exchange student (taught in Spanish). After graduation, I plan to live in South America for six months and then return to Italy to pursue a Master's degree in Archaeology in Rome.
- I have an online store in China where I sell scented candles that I design and make by hand.
- I am very friendly, curious and culturally a global citizen, having traveled to almost 40 countries.
- I love children and animals. I can't have children of my own so I think of them as siblings or my imaginary children. I have two cats in China and I have taken care of cats in Italy for people on vacation.
- I can cook delicious Chinese and world fusion dishes.
- I grew up with my blind mom. I have lived on my own for 12 years, which means I can do all kinds of housework and I believe I can contribute to taking care of a family.
- I love nature, I do a lot of hiking and I have completed the Via Francigena pilgrimage of almost 400 km.
- I am not a strict pollo-pescetarian, that is to say, I rarely eat mammals for ethical reasons.
- My grandparents were peasants and I think I inherited their hard-working peasant spirit.
- I am a Catholic catechumenate.
- I learned singing for 12 years and I love singing :)
- I love reading, I read 300 books a year on average. I also try to write.
- To be honest, I love and need work not for a living, but to give me the motivation to live a regular life, make social connections, be responsible for people and things, and help others to feel fulfilled.
