We are Lorna and Lev, we are from Lincoln England! We are a happy, energetic, animal loving couple that are looking to experience Canada in a less touristy way. We are in Canada for 2 years and share a multitude of skills! We are both artistic and outgoing, we work really well together as a team but also as individuals if there are multiple tasks to split between us! Lorna is extremely patient and experienced with housekeeping/cleaning, is a really good cook, great with all kinds of people, children of all ages, people with special needs and autism and even elderly especially with dementia, a good handyman/jack of all trades, and she is weirdly strong. Lev is great with plants, just as good with technology, a huge lover of all and every animal and loves outdoor work. Lev is also very interested in carpentry so if you ever want to pass over some of your skills please do! We are willing to give any challenge a go and have yet to find a challenge we are unable to beat when we put our heads together.

Between us we have lots of skills including: gardening, housework, cooking, painting and being creative, handyman work like working with power tools, building things or laying patios. Lots of experience with different types of animals. Lorna is extremely patient and has lots of experience working with people be it children, people with special needs and autism or the elderly especially with dementia. Lorna is first aid trained, used to be a life guard and teach children to swim! Lev has good skills on computers and with technology and is a keen photographer. We are both quite physical people and love to stay active from hiking to weightlifting. We are both very open minded and quick learners so willing to learn any new skills required!

What else ...

While we share a mixture of skills and hobbies, Lorna has a current interest in artsy things like painting, being creative in her journal and embroidery. Lev is interested in photographing all of our adventures and working outdoors and is excited for hands on labour compared to working behind a computer all day! We enjoy all board games, love a good jigsaw puzzle and most of all enjoy hearing peoples stories and learning about their lives, especially over one of Lorna’s homemade cocktails/mocktails!
