Hello there !

I'm a french guy, former firefighter-archeology student-craftman (mostly in construction) and now some kind of backpacker... Yeah, that's a long story - and I plan on adding some more to my resume.
What am I interested in ? A bit of everything. I love art, teaching, helping, learning, building, meeting new people and sharing stories.
What am I looking for ? Opportunities. Discoveries. Travel in the unknown, get away from my comfort zone and evolve, try to be the best version of myself everyday.

I'm a writer - this is the way art flows in me. I spend a lot of time doing this - writing saved me more than once, and I would be pleased to share this.
I love hiking, trying new sports and card games.
I'm interested in spirituality (I met my very best friend while doing a meditation retreat), as long as there's place for respect, tolerance and sharing.
I love animals - we have chicken, dog, cats, turtle and rabbits at home.
I love music, and I'd be so happy to discover some new styles, artists..
I have many tattoos (mostly egyptian & greek mythologies).

S'il fallait un mot pour résumer cette expérience : Famille. Cette expérience, entre Huancayo et Concepción, est réellement ce qui pouvait m'arriver de mieux au Pérou. La connexion a été (pour ainsi dire) instantanée, que ce soit avec Héctor, Kathy, la Luanita (Trululu !) ou les abuelitos et mon nouveau frère de cœur (bisou Causa :D).… read more
L'expérience en elle-même est tout à fait enrichissante, l'école (la Tia Gabi, la nieta Lua ;)) et les enfants sont autant de sources d'apprentissage. Laissez-vous porter, soyez libres d'amener dans votre valise ce que la vie vous a appris, montré, pour le partager autour de vous. Donner des cours d'anglais, d'archéologie, de photographie... DANSER, célébrer la vie, se tromper - tout est permis.
L'espace de vie est agréable - difficile de partir à la fin... Il ne m'a fallu que quelques minutes pour me sentir chez moi, et j'ai arrêté de compter les conversations profondes (ou les éclats de rire) partagés avec la famille. J'ai tant reçu au travers de cette expérience que j'avais presque l'impression de ne pas donner assez : des conseils de vie auprès des grands-parents, des instants "émotion" et confessions avec Héctor & Kathy, chacun à sa façon apportant une pierre à l'édifice. Ils sont ma famille choisie, ma famille adoptive péruvienne, qui prouve que les liens du cœur sont parfois aussi (sinon plus) forts que les liens du sang.

If I had to sum up this experience in one word: Family.
This experience, between Huancayo and Concepción, is truly the best thing that could have happened to me in Peru. The connection was (so to speak) instantaneous, whether with Héctor, Kathy, little Luanita (Trululu!) or the grandparents and my new brother at heart (a kiss, Causa :D).
The experience itself is incredibly enriching; the school (Auntie Gabi, granddaughter Lua ;)) and the children are constant sources of learning. Let yourself be carried along, feel free to bring in your suitcase everything life has taught and shown you, in order to share it with those around you. Teaching English, archaeology, photography… DANCING, celebrating life, making mistakes — everything is allowed.
The living space is pleasant — it’s hard to leave in the end… It only took me a few minutes to feel at home, and I stopped counting the deep conversations (or bursts of laughter) shared with the family.
I have received so much through this experience that I almost felt like I wasn’t giving enough: life advice with the grandparents, emotional moments and heartfelt conversations with Héctor and Kathy, each contributing in their own way.
They are my chosen family, my Peruvian adoptive family, proving that the bonds of the heart are sometimes just as strong (if not stronger) than those of blood.

A thousand thanks to you all.

Si tuviera que resumir esta experiencia en una sola palabra: Familia.
Esta experiencia, entre Huancayo y Concepción, es realmente lo mejor que me pudo pasar en el Perú. La conexión fue (por así decirlo) inmediata, tanto con Héctor, Kathy, la Luanita (¡Trululu!) como con los abuelitos y mi nuevo hermano del corazón (¡un beso, causa :D!).
La experiencia en sí es súper enriquecedora; el cole (la tía Gabi, la nieta Lua ;)) y los chicos son una fuente constante de aprendizaje. Déjense llevar, siéntanse libres de traer en su mochila todo lo que la vida les ha enseñado y mostrado, para compartirlo con los demás. Dar clases de inglés, de arqueología, de fotografía… ¡BAILAR, celebrar la vida, equivocarse! Todo vale.
El espacio donde se vive es muy agradable — cuesta un montón irse al final… Solo necesité unos minutos para sentirme como en casa, y dejé de contar las conversaciones profundas (o las carcajadas) compartidas con la familia.
He recibido tanto a través de esta experiencia que casi sentía que no estaba dando lo suficiente: consejos de vida con los abuelitos, momentos de emoción y confidencias con Héctor y Kathy, cada uno aportando a su manera su granito de arena.
Son mi familia elegida, mi familia peruana adoptiva, que demuestra que los lazos del corazón a veces son tan fuertes (o incluso más) que los lazos de sangre.
