Kia ora/Hello!
My name is Katie and I come from Aotearoa/New Zealand.
I am moving over to the U.K. in 2024 with the aim to explore, learn and find inspiration in people, places and the environment.
My working background is in environmental regulation and climate change policy and did postgraduate studies in indigenous studies.
Naturally, I am passionate about all of those things but would love to learn more about sustainable food growing and living closer to the way of mother nature.

I have a working background in policy and regulation so have 'soft skills' in computer skills and written and verbal communication. I have worked in administration and reception roles, and before starting university, I was working in an organic food/meat deli.
I am reasonably fit and strong for any outdoor work but no formal training in this area.
I love working with people and have done many training roles in my work. I would love the opportunity to learn more from people.

I have looked after my elderly great aunt and grandparents back at home and have had some babysitting roles so am reasonably comfortable with looking after people.
I'm interested in all things! But particularly in my new chapter of life I would love to get into my creative side... specifically in media through filmmaking and photography :)
