  • Description

Hi, I’m Kira, and I’m on the hunt for adventures beyond Switzerland’s mountains. I’m a recent psychology graduate (don’t worry, I can’t read anyone’s mind; at the moment I’m mostly into studying brainwave patterns), and I love hearing about the different life stories, experiences, and perspectives of people from around the world. I come with a considerable collection of dad jokes and fun facts, but I’m always keen to acquire more ;)

I’m happiest in, on, or near the water (I’m a decent swimmer, a beginner surfer, and a professional beach visitor). That said, I’m really up for almost any trip, adventure, or random side quest, as long as it comes with a good balance of physical activity, great company, and tasty food and drinks.

I like to consider myself an “all-rounder” who enjoys finding creative solutions to every problem :). At home, I live in a house with nine other students, where we always have some kind of project going on, whether it’s fixing the living room table, growing plants and vegetables in our garden, or organizing dinners and parties. With a bit of instruction, I’m happy to tackle almost any task, from woodworking to decorating.
My psychology studies have taught me a lot about human experiences and interactions, as well as data analysis and statistics. In recent years, I have focused specifically on youth and adolescent development and mental health. In my free time, I teach schoolchildren the basics of programming in a fun and playful way. I’m no expert in computer science, but I’m always open to a nerdy conversation about large language models or similar topics!
I’m comfortable coordinating projects, organizing events, handling scheduling, leading a team, teaching, or simply being there as a helpful set of hands.
