My name is Kimia which means rare and scarce in Farsi :)
I’m a 27-year-old backpacker from Iran I have explored almost every corner of my country, hitchhiking for miles and collecting stories along the way. I enjoy meeting new people and learning from their experiences and views. I have a background in animal science and genetic engineering of animals, and I love working with animals and nature. I have done some internships with farm animals and learned a lot from them. I also like to take care of my mind and soul by doing yoga and meditation regularly. I believe that humans are like trees and need to be connected to the earth to be happy and stable. I’m a friendly, adaptable and open-minded girl who loves to make new friends and share culture, language and stories with them. I want to travel to other countries and discover their history, art and cuisine. I’m interested in Workaway because I think it’s an amazing way to help others, learn new things and have fun at the same time. I hope to find some awesome hosts and have some memorable experiences.
