Hello Workawayers!

My name is Kashkiin Nino Perez. I'm a highly active twenty year old who is traveling continental Europe for one year. I'm very communicative, easygoing, and love to learn and exchange culture. I'm Apache Indian myself and I can sit and break bread with anybody. I do not judge others for their beliefs, I'm always happy to talk and listen.

That said, I will now discuss my technical qualifications. I worked for Toyota as a mechanic for two years. I work without complaint, I work hard, and I work well. I have lots of personal experience with animals, gardening, carpentry, plumbing, construction, and fieldwork. I have experience with photography, horseback riding, and shooting/archery. If you welcome me, I will put all of my time and energy into helping you. I love to learn, and I learn quick. My attitude is always great and I always try to contribute.

For two years, I worked my way through Toyota as a janitor, mechanic, salesman, and manager. Prior to that, I have several years experience cooking, baking, and bartending. Back home, I took care of cats, dogs, horses, chickens, and various other livestock. I maintained a garden filled with tons of herbs, squash, tubers, fruits, and veggies for several years before scrapping it to make room for animals. I've constructed a number of buildings such as sheds, small buildings, and housing for animals (chickens, horses, etc). Many hours spent pruning and chopping down large trees. I have personal experience with electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and fieldwork. I love shooting, archery, and riding horses. I'm also fairly experienced with photography (I have a Nikon D5300 camera).

I love to play games! Videogames, board games, card games, I love 'em all.
I used to play guitar, piano, and saxophone, but it's been so long that I doubt I can anymore. Nevertheless, I still love to sing and I might be able to pick them up again with time.
I'm super outdoorsy! I love to hike, fish, hunt, ride horses, do archery, snowboard, surf, swim, and do just about anything active.

Time flies when you're with family. This past month felt like a warm breeze; here one moment, gone the next, deeply missed. My eternal gratitude extends to Boro, Pedja, Snježa, Barba, and the many other people I've had the pleasure of meeting during my time in Pecka.

If you are someone who can find something to do without being told, you will be happy here. Do not expect to be told what to do every day. There is much to do and many ways to contribute. Open your eyes, dedicate yourself to making an impact, and your presence will be appreciated.

The food was always plentiful, the company was always excellent, and the memories have all been exceptional. The countryside is beautiful. You are a short distance from a number of remarkable landmarks, views, and adventures. Spelunking, climbing, swimming, biking, hiking- there is never nothing to do. Endless books, lots of music, tons of time to yourself. The neighbors are nothing short of welcoming, the animals are endlessly adorable, and the weather (good or bad) is always breathtaking. I've spilled blood, sweat, and tears. I have laughed, I have loved, I have lost. Pecka is my home.

Boro is one of the hardest workers you'll ever meet. He cares deeply for his guests, his village, his friends, and his family. He works tirelessly, from sunup to sundown. He gives and gives and deserves nothing but the best in return. His family welcomed me with open arms. His wife treated me like a son. His children are some of the funniest, most talented guys you'll ever meet. I want nothing but the best for them.
Pedja was the second person I met in Pecka. From the beginning, he was nothing but friendly and outgoing. Reliable, thoughtful, and impossibly kind, Pedja is blessed with a good soul. Interesting to talk to, easy to sit with, and raised by an absolutely wonderful woman.
Snježa and Barba both speak little English. It made no difference. I have laughed with them and I have felt their hospitality. Snježa made me feel cared for with her delicious gifts. Barba made me feel comforted by his warm handshake and pats on the back.

I have already written so much, and yet I have not expressed even half of the love I have for this place and these people. Already, I miss it. If you like community, if you are a good worker, and if you have a good soul; you will find a home in Pecka.
