Description
Hello!
We are Kiera and Jack from Scotland. Kiera is originally from the Scottish Highlands and Jack is from Edinburgh.
We have recently set off on a 20 month trip, having quit our jobs , moved out of our beloved Edinburgh flat and said goodbye to our friends and family. We have started off in South East Asia for 3 and a half months and will then be heading to New Zealand for 1 year.
In Edinburgh Kiera has been working for a homelessness charity supporting vulnerable adults and managing volunteers whilst Jack has been working as a Graphic Designer for a large Scottish based advertising agency. We both loved these jobs but had always wanted to travel and live in New Zealand for a year so decided when better to do it than now!
We both love the outdoors, music, eating good food, animals, nature and wildlife,TV, film and reading. We love a festival and spending time with friends and family, and most importantly having a laugh. Kiera loves her wild swimming, whilst Jack's cheers her on from the side. Jack plays the bagpipes although sadly these weren't able to be squeezed into the rucksack and he also plays the guitar.
We are looking to meet new people, understand new cultures, make some memories, learn some new skills and hopefully share some of our own!
We are both hard working, reliable and easy going folk who are open to a variety of workaway experiences and are keen to get stuck in :)

I (Kiera) tends to avoid garlic and onion as it upsets my stomach, however I can eat spring onion. Cooking is one of my favourite hobbies and I would be happy to cook for myself and others!

They worked hard (even through the jetlag!), followed instructions, were respectful of the house systems, and even accomodated my funny little quirks!
