I am a nature-lover with an itch for adventure! Last year, I completed a my master's degree and landed what I thought was my "dream job". I thought I was doing all the "right" things to be successful. But now I'm feeling like there has to be more to life than this! I'm craving more. I'm ready for a change in lifestyle. I want to be immersed in a different culture, learn from others, try new skills, and grow!

I have been working in the environmental education field for 8+ years. Because of this, I have knowledge in natural science topics like geology, hydrology, ecology, etc. I've worked in animal husbandry on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, led educational hikes through the gorges of upstate New York, educated the public on the paleontology of Utah, taught natural science topics in the Rockies of Colorado, and am now teaching youth about the rivers and streams of Central Oregon. I'm no expert in anything, but I'm a quick study and love to learn! Through this field, I have also become a Wilderness First Responder, so I am knowledgeable about backcountry first aid.

Beyond my teaching and environmental skills, I also have general knowledge of construction. I grew up helping my dad with his drywall and painting business. From scrapping and sanding to hanging drywall and painting - I'm comfortable with tools in my hands! I also enjoy caring for my plants, growing my own food, and creating art!

I love sports! I played soccer, basketball, and lacrosse competitively. I continue to play soccer and also enjoy playing volleyball, spikeball, pickleball, or really anything with a ball!
