Hello! I am Kotomi.
I am Japanese and 22 years old.
I am currently planning to travel in Finland on leave from my postgraduate studies in Japan.
I would like to get away from Japan for a while, meet various people and think about what kind of life and place suits me best.
📝Background
I studied engineering (5 years) and did research in robotics and psychology (2 years).
At the same time, in my holidays,
I worked for several months in sushi restaurants, wedding halls, etc., and for three years in sales and marketing of robots.
I have an interest in foreign countries and have spent several weeks each in the USA, Australia and Finland. I really liked Finland atmosphere, and have decided to stay more as working holiday in Finland. (But also I'd like to visit other Europe countries this time! )

I am a bit shy. However, I like talking with people, I want to know and try different cultures and ideas.

- I helped cook at a cafe / some communities. I would be happy if I could share Japanese cuisine with you too.

- I grew vegetables and flowers in a small home garden, and helped with digging, weeding, and planting at Workaway. (I love nature!)

I stayed here for 2 weeks in February 2023. I played with Suvi (little daughter) , cooked, cleaned the house, helped with work, etc. It was my first workaway, but I enjoyed a lot since they were very kind to me from start to finish. I hope to see them again.
